Humanities or Arts is one of the very popular choices among Indian students who have passed 10th standard. It is an academic discipline which deals with the  study of the human condition, utilizing methodologies that are usually analytical, critical or speculative. Choosing Arts as a stream after 10th would enable a student to choose a career from a range spanning a wide area.  The major subjects covered under the Arts stream are- Political Science, Geography, Education, Economics, History, Logic and Philosophy, Sociology, Psychology, Sanskrit and literature subjects like English, Hindi, Assamese etc. The college will provide the classes of Arts stream under Assam Higher Secondary Education Council.

The total number of seats in Arts stream (XI) is 100

English+M.I.L. and any 4 subjects from the Elective Subject list.

(i) English
(ii) MIL (Assamese/Hindi) or Alternative English.

A student shall select one subject from each group listed below:
(i) Logic and Philosophy
(ii) History
(iii) Political Science
(iv) Economics
(v) Advance Assamese
(vi) Education
